Hosting in our childhood home
gives us the opportunity to cherish and share our memories

About

We’ve combined our love for hospitality  with our love of the area and small town living.

Our "why" behind sharing the next chapter of our childhood home, into an accommodation to admire in historical Clinton, NY...

Pa's Place was built in the early 1960's for our family, Joseph and Patricia Lomanto wanted it to grow into a long lasting family home.  Pat, a stay at home mom, and Joe, both grew up in the Town of Kirkland/Clinton area and decided to stay here with their family.  Joe started a business, which is still there to this day, Clinton Collision, in the early 1970's.  You may see some of the tow trucks pass through town while you visit.  Joe (Pa) became a pillar in the Clinton community. If you ask anyone around the local businesses they will remember him well and likely have a story to share.  Our parents, thankfully, both remained at home until Mom passed in 2013 and we lost Pa in 2023 at the age of 93.

We have many wonderful memories of this home as children, with our parents, as well as our children.  One of our last conversations with Pa was to please keep the home as long as we could and share it with the grandkids, which were his pride and joy.  In order to grant his wish we decided to give Pa's Place a fresh new look and start the next chapter of many more new memories to come, not only for our family, but for yours.

We have poured love into this home for many years and tried to think of every detail to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.  We are very excited to start this new endeavor and share

Pa's place for years to come.
